About me

Hi, I’m Hannah, a Non-Diet Dietitian and Accredited Health and Wellness Coach approaching a decade of experience in private practice. My true passion lies in supporting clients to build a healthy relationship with food and rediscover the joy of eating without guilt or restriction.

My journey to becoming a dietitian is deeply personal. As a teenager and young adult, I struggled with disordered eating and the relentless pursuit of thinness. Initially, I studied dietetics with the goal of mastering weight loss—for myself and others. But during my studies, I was introduced to the Health At Every Size® (HAES®) and non-diet approaches, and everything changed. These principles completely transformed my perspective on health, food, and my relationship with my body.

Today, I’m proud to say that I am an intuitive eater. I’ve learned to honour my body’s natural cues—not just with eating, but also in physical activity and mindfulness practices that support mental wellbeing. This journey has been life-changing for me, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have discovered this approach early on. I know firsthand how difficult the road to food freedom can be, but I also know how rewarding it is.

I was diagnosed with IBS in 2012, so I understand how frustrating and exhausting it can be to navigate unpredictable symptoms. Finding the right strategies to manage my IBS was challenging, but it showed me just how powerful nutrition and lifestyle changes can be. Now, I feel fortunate to help others regain control over their symptoms so they can enjoy food and life again.

Outside of my work, I find joy in growing my own food and embracing sustainable practices. I believe that building a connection with the food we eat—from seed to plate—not only supports physical and mental health but also nurtures a deeper relationship with the environment.

In my practice, I aim to create a safe, compassionate space where clients feel truly heard and supported. I am dedicated to empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills to take control over their health and wellbeing. Whether you’re navigating gut health challenges, working to heal from disordered eating, or simply seeking a more balanced approach to food and life, I’m here to help. My approach is rooted in empathy, evidence-based practice, and a genuine belief in your ability to thrive.

Let’s work together to redefine what health means for you and help you find freedom with food. I’d love to support you - book a session today and take the first step toward a healthier, more fulfilling relationship with food and your body.
