Why work with me?

As both a Non-Diet Dietitian and an Accredited Health and Wellness Coach, I bring a unique blend of skills and perspectives to my practice. My dual expertise allows me to go beyond the traditional scope of nutrition care, offering a more holistic and personalised approach to your health journey.

Health at Every Size® (HAES®) Paradigm

I practice through the lens of HAES®, a weight-inclusive approach that supports health and well-being for people of all sizes. This means that my focus is on promoting joyful movement, nourishing your body in a way that feels good, and cultivating a positive relationship with food – without the emphasis on weight loss. HAES® principles recognise that:

  • Health looks different for everyone: There is no single "healthy" body size.

  • Well-being is multi-faceted: It encompasses physical, mental, emotional, and social aspects.

  • Weight is not always a reliable indicator of health: Focusing on healthy behaviours is more beneficial than focusing solely on weight.

By adopting a HAES® framework, I aim to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your health goals without the pressures and stigma often associated with weight-centric approaches

A Holistic Perspective

I understand that health is about more than just food (though let’s not underestimate the power of a good meal). My health coach training has equipped me with the tools to support you in sustainable behaviour change across all areas of health – from nutrition, stress management and physical activity to sleep and mental wellbeing. Together, we’ll take a big-picture approach to creating lasting changes that support your overall health and wellbeing.

Client-Centred Support

As a health coach, I respect that you are the expert in your own life, body, and lived experience. When we combine this with my expertise in behaviour change and the latest evidence-based nutrition information, we become the ultimate team. Think of me as a supportive guide—meeting you where you are in your health journey and walking alongside you to create meaningful changes that align with your values and self-determined goals.

Compassion and Lived Experience

Having walked my own path to food freedom and body trust, I know how challenging it can be to break free from diet culture. I bring both professional expertise and personal understanding to our work together, ensuring you feel truly supported.

Specialised Expertise

Approaching a decade of experience in private practice, I’ve helped clients navigate a wide range of health concerns, including gastrointestinal issues [IBS, food intolerances, Coeliac disease, chronic constipation, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), diarrhoea and Gastro-oesophageal Reflux Disease (GORD)] and disordered eating behaviours. My non-diet philosophy combined with my coaching skills means I can help you address both the practical and emotional aspects of your health – whether that’s symptom relief, reducing food anxiety or learning to trust your body again.

Long-Term Change, Not Quick Fixes

I’m not here to provide temporary solutions, rigid meal plans or one-size-fits-all advice. My focus is on helping you build confidence in your food choices, develop sustainable habits and take ownership of your health. Together, we’ll create a plan that fits your unique needs – so you can eat well, feel good, and live fully.
